ICYMI, researchers from the UK published a Lancet meta-analysis of school-based mental health programs and found "insufficient" and "weak evidence" that any of them work. And also 85% of the research is low quality for bias.

Research lit pretty clear - 8th grade test scores fairly well associated with probability of postsecondary success. For the parent, uncomfortable truth is that it’s pretty much baked in by that point, statistically. Start early, homeschool begins at birth.
