I have dreamed about this essay for 5 years! I finally wrote it down as I completed 15 years in the city this week. My love-hate letter to Mumbai 💚

What a beautiful touching love letter to my fav city in the world. I have so many memories of unsolicited kindness, given by those who have nothing. Flawed for sure, but my heart yearns to go back. If anyone is hiring product/strategy leadership there, ping me!

A great read on the city I love. Coincidentally today happens to be the 20th anniversary of the worst floods we experienced. The day the term "Spirit of Mumbai" was popularized in media.

beautifullllly written about my city. a city for all. a city that doesnt see where you come from. you truly come here "to be made". a city that you step in feeling like you know everyone. the familiarity, warmth and ambition of this place is truly unmatched

if i wasn't too biased about chennai, mumbai would've easily been my favourite city in the country - the 5 odd months i spent there in 2022 were magical if there is one piece of content that you should read today it should be this!

This is easily the most creative essay I have recently read on Mumbai, especially bcoz of the Hurt Locker reference. Truly a great analogy for the appeal & addiction of Mumbai's hustle.
