With @EmmanuelMacron announcing that 🇫🇷 will recognize 🇵🇸 as an independent state by the September 🇺🇳 General Assembly there is significant new diplomatic momentum on the issue.
When Trump sets the dogs on you, get ready for rabid mongrels!
Moreno: The fact that Powell looked at a piece of paper and didn’t recognize that it’s his own numbers shows gross incompetence combined with incredible arrogance
There have never been any circumstances when Netanyahu would accept a Palestinian state!
We strongly condemn President Macron’s decision to recognize a Palestinian state next to Tel Aviv in the wake of the October 7 massacre. Such a move rewards terror and risks creating another Iranian proxy, just as Gaza became. A Palestinian state in these conditions would be a…
American beef in Australia is like sending instant coffee to Italy. Who in Australia would want this?
Seems more dud games through the season. Is this so? Is it time to review the way afl is scored? Too often teams get a run on and the game is over.
Jeez how many dud Thursday night games have we had!! Hasn't been a margin less than 37 points in last 6 games. Here's the tale of the tape...48, 37, 49, 50, 41, 72. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. #AFLHawksBlues
It is actually a great nation because of people who came from all quarters of the earth!
🇦🇺 The anti-British colonial & anti-Anglo-Australian sentiment proliferating in our 48th parliament must be called out Australia is the great nation it is today BECAUSE of the sacrifice, foresight & dedication of people of British descent, including our federation forefathers…
Labor Caucus disappointingly passive on the Palestine issue. Maybe should remind themselves nothing to fear but fear itself 😑 smh.com.au/politics/feder…
There are more than 250 first nations across the continent. Welcome to Country is relatively rare because it must be performed by a local tribal elder. You've probably seen 20 on TV and never experienced one personally. Well meaning white people overdo Acknowledgement of Country.
True. But most of the lost votes went to progressive independents. Do you not get what that means? It means most voters do not want far-right politics.
So? Only 34% voted Labor after 100 years
This is what they mean by ”cutting red tape”. Always beware of businesses and their political allies when they say there is too much regulation.
Trump is gutting the police that stop corporations from looting — the EPA, IRS, SEC, Labor Department, Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Consumer Product Safety Commission, FDA, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Be warned.
If ever there was a documentary in the making, it’d be on Israel’s oldest newspaper, editor and staff as they - daily - take on their government’s repulsive actions. Can only imagine the social pressure and threats.
Six percent of Australians voted for One Nation. After 30 years!
60%+ of Australians voted NO. One Nation is the only party listening to us.
One Nation is a joke party, with little impact other than rewarding it Senators with lots of taxpayers' money. But the National Party - with not much more of the vote - is a toxic influence within the coalition, trying to undercut moderate Liberals with their extreme demands.
Ley holds the line on climate as Nationals go rogue – again afr.com/politics/feder…
Hanson represents the calcification of public thought - an ossified relic of white anxiety, preserved and paraded like a national artefact long past its relevance. She is what happens when grievance becomes a lifestyle, and ignorance becomes a brand.
Suggesting that govt spending leads to lower productivity as the CIS does today is such laughable horseshit. Weird that some journos just repeated the line without noting there is no evidence in the paper of any link between govt expenditure and productivity
The best chance for young kids to lead normal lives is to socialise at an early age with other kids of various backgrounds. Pre schools have an essential role to play. But they should have to meet high standards of staffing and care and not be run for profit.
My kids are at home with their mother, exactly where they’re supposed to be. Away from propaganda and predators.
It's racist, Ken! And it's a lobby group, not a think tank.
It's a conservative think tank that competes with leftist & Labor think tanks. Nothing cancerous about that.
I’m guessing you want mothers tied to the kitchen sink and constantly pregnant. No matter what the circumstances are children should interact with other children. Childcare is encouraged to non working parents or have you been listening.
