Exciting privilege to inaugurate one of our offshore wind projects - Neart na Gaoithe - off the coast of Fife and serviced from Eyemouth. It is an amazing feat of engineering and an example of Scotland’s bright energy future.
The people of the Highlands have had enough of the industrialisation that wind factories and battery storage sites bring. The @scotgov need to listen and call a halt while we make a plan rather than let the current wild-west approach continue.

A few residents in Ullapool came to talk to me about this salmon lice treatment boat. The industry has a long way to go before they have implemented all the 64 recommendations of the 2018 REC report into aquaculture.

A break in the weather at Lochcarron. Talk this morning about the industrialisation of the Highlands and the ill-considered/random nature of battery storage site development.
This has been dumped on my farm. @PoliceScotland told me the van isn’t registered (are any?) and so not interested. Perhaps if they had visited site they could have worked out the owner from the letters left inside. No wonder rural communities feel unsupported.
