RIP Ozzy you were a proper Rock and Roller. The Song I used to sing coming back from a night on Hills Farm Cider at 8 Pence a Pint youtu.be/jz7hIpRv-jc?siβ¦
Very interesting, History repeating itself. Written in 1967 it resonates todayβs problems. theguardian.com/world/1967/novβ¦
One of my favourite Albums which I still listen to even before Ozzy passed.

Always wanted one of these π π my wife might not be too impressed if I turned up with it from Watts Auctions Barnsley π«

Things have changed a bit in my lifetime, Grandpa ploughing and me trying to figure out how to go forward π

Donβt you just love Straw Hauliers π«£

Thank you to all those (including my son!) grafting late into the night to get the crops in, both here in Barnsley North and around the country ππ»ππΎπ»
Not moved one of those for a while π€ @bandbtractors

Anyone seen any Rain ? Buggar all fallen around here π«
Thought for today ! The Victorian brick-lined tunnels are still part of London's current sewer system. Thatβs partly because Bazalgette insisted on building tunnels far larger than were originally needed, anticipating the growth of the city.

I noticed the sticking point during the USA and Japan trade deal is Ag imports to Japan, sounds familiar π«
Well thatβs the end of an era, cut my teeth aged 13 cutting Grass to wilt with this and the MF 135 I still have. 25 acre field was big in them days.

When you realise Farming income has fallen behind a bit. Openreach engineer just told me he has just found out that sub contractors have been charging Β£500 per pole to fit these metal rings on poles that havenβt got them for fibre. Worse still is Openreach supplied the rings.

The hours I spent driving these bits of kit in my teens all off to be auctioned at York , Combine Harvestor grain tanks were a lot smaller then and Silage trailers for that matter. Anyone want a Kidd Forage Harvestor ?

What a sight! π Footage of the 3 Coasts (the world's longest annual charity tractor run, 550 miles over 6 days) by Whitby Surf School. All on vintage tractors, no cabs, come rain or shine. A fantastic effort with over Β£90,000 raised for Cancer Research and Air Ambulance. π
Ordered a pulley for my Garden Mower from John Deere, pleasantly surprised that I hadnβt to get a bank loan to buy it π

Wishing everyone a very Joyful and Happy Summer Solstice
