King Novik's battle armor concept I designed for DOOM: The Dark Ages.
Before touching 3D or photoshop I did a series of pen-only drawings (no erasing) for the Super Shotgun in DOOM: The Dark Ages! I knew it would need to be lever action + we wanted a flint-lock weapon so it was a lot of creative problem-solving early on. Grey tone added later.
Some development concepts for the Spire of Nerathul level from DOOM: The Dark Ages! Had a lot of fun taking notes from Lovecraftian lore to pull it into the DOOM Franchise.

Cosmic BFG for DOOM: The Dark Ages! Designed prior to pivoting to a more heavy metal and 'dark ages' theme weapon with the BFC. I enjoyed focusing on elements that mirrored the architecture of the cosmic realm. A collapsing black hole generates its firepower with every shot!
