Indonesia is truly beautiful, But it’s striking to see so little mechanisation of agriculture. Whether I visit tobacco, rice, or fish farms, much is still done by hand. So many potentially brilliant minds still trapped in drudgery - “Lost Einsteins”.
I do think there is a set of worthwhile questions that boil down to things like, "what have you done with the last 2 years of your life that a mate would find very appealing?"
Hobbies. These men are in desperate need of hobbies and a service project to get them out of their work and video games. And not whiskey or cigars. Go take an art history or journalism class. Anything that will be a mixed gender group.
Chinese Surveillance State with Ghibli Characteristics
Peter Thiel said there are three visions of the future and none of them is particularly good or inspiring: Greta Thunberg environmentalism, Islamism, or Chinese surveillance state. I think the new American tech renaissance provides an inspiring fourth option.
If you ever wonder why Chinese companies like DeepSeek, Qwen, and Kimi can train strong LLMs with far fewer and nerfed Nvidia GPUs, remember: In 1969, NASA’s Apollo mission landed people on the moon with a computer that had just 4KB of RAM. Creativity loves constraints.

you just need beefy workstation pc, internet remote power switch, and ups. buy a budget laptop with comfortable keyboard and display. power up your laptop, stream your pc. then doing heavy duty tasks in cafe, woods, or wherever as long as there is internet.
Honest take: There's no game that successfully reproduces this aesthetic. It's been a week, and I have yet to see anything close. I wish devs would actually discuss why it's so challenging. Instead people's emotional hatred for AI is preventing that discussion from happening.
Is there a name for this aesthetic because it is stunning. We want to live in this.
