I'm glad they changed this scene to Nan being the one that knows how to chop wood. It helps to emphasize that Guy's family being broke is new to him. He probably didn't take chopping wood seriously when his mom was still alive, but without her it means a lot more. #TheBuccaneers

Hearing Guy talk so warmly about his mother is so meaningful to Nan. It provides a stark contrast to her father and his utter failure at saying anything meaningful about her birth mother (and Patti). Guy's words prove that he has a deep respect for women. #TheBuccaneers
Nan was so down bad for Guy 😂 First she's all excited to see him (even though, as far as she thinks Theo knows, they supposedly barely know each other) and then disappointed that he didn't greet her too. So she jumps at the chance to spend time alone with him. #TheBuccaneers
+ between the three of them is perhaps my favorite of the season.
