“when the East of the day meets the West of the night” at several venues recently in China. The piece was filmed on both sides of the Pacific Ocean in 2019-during my last visit to Beijing. It makes me happy to see it there, helping bridge the distance between me and my family 🌊

An interview where I share some personal stories behind “Trampoline Color Exercise” and reflect on the complexities of allegiance. Today is the last day to catch the Midnight tumblers in @TimesSquareNYC — I'm excited for what comes next! 💗🤸♀️✨
Thanks to @artnet and Jiayin Chen for featuring Trampoline Color Exercise in a recent interview for which I discussed my creative journey, coexistence of two cultures, and what lies ahead. Give it a read! 💗🤸♀️ news.artnet.com/art-world/yuge…

Some memorable moments from last Friday’s celebration of my Midnight Moment✨A big thank you to @TSqArts for this incredible opportunity, and all the friends and colleagues who came to support me — being so far away from my family in China, having you all there means everything💗

If you’re in NYC, come by Duffy Square in Times Square tonight (6/13) at 11:30pm and join me, along with others from the Chicago and NYC arts communities, for a special viewing of “Trampoline Color Exercise” across 95 screens in Times Square. I’d love to see you there! 🤸♀️💗

Taught a video installation class @NorthwesternU this winter quarter - a fun and inspirational experience. Thanks to the students for their vibrant ideas and dialogues and the Department of Radio/TV/Film for the support 💜

🤍 Happy winter solstice 🌕 Moon Drawings (winter) @21cHotels; Curated by Jennifer Murray as part of the exhibition “Reflections on Practice”, viewable after dusk and from the windows of 21c Chicago guest rooms until 12/31. 📷: @naesynthpop

Thank you to Nicky Ni & @newcity for the most comprehensive profiles of @150mediastream. I’ve had the privilege of curating this public digital art program for the past eight years. The print copy is currently out across Chicago—pick yourself up a copy! 💕 art.newcity.com/2024/11/14/a-r…
Moon Drawings @21cHotels 🌕 The piece was filmed from the window of my highrise apartment in Chicago on a bitterly cold, snowy night during the pandemic travel ban. It felt like a full-circle moment to see it projected from the window of my favorite hotel room onto a 48foot wall.

Thank you to Jenny Wang at IMPULSE Magazine for this beautiful interview on my practice and new works I've been cooking up this past year 🎥 impulsemagazine.com/symposium/inte…
