🔵🐉 FIRST HOME GAME🐉⚪ Wivenhoe Town v Diss Town Sat 2nd Aug - 3pm Wivenhoe Town are at home next Saturday for their first home game of the season. Dragons will be aiming to get up and running but face a tough test against a Diss Town side who were strong last season.
Huge thanks to former Dragons' centre back Tim Dennis for sponsoring defender Josh Dennis. A big season for Josh who follows the footsteps of his brother as he aims to establish himself as a regular in the Wivenhoe Town XI. Josh made his first appearance yesterday as a sub.
Wivenhoe Town started the season with a 1 - 0 defeat away at Halesworth Town. The Dragons will be aiming to get the season up and running next Saturday in their opening home game against Diss Town.

A great first half for @HalesworthClub who were relentless, but only one goal to show when Alex Husband drilled home after 10 minutes. The @wivenhoetown_fc keeper Fin McIver-Jones was confident, controlled his defence & pulled off top saves to keep the score 1-0 at half time.
Substitution: Tom Ayton replaces an injured Ben Thomas.
