For Boise people If a realtor is trying to sell a house on a pond in Eagle or Star, and calls it “waterfront property” like the water doesn’t have E. coil or swimmers itch, they’re lying
Showing all your cards at once & getting rejected is tough. You also just showed the power conferences you’re willing to join for free at best, they won’t take you for less. I can’t help but imagine they’ll try the ACC next, or they already tried & it just hasn’t came out yet.
USF, Tulane, Memphis, and Texas state. What’s all this nonsense about “travel costs.” Also, the pac now knows you’re desperate and have 250 million at your disposal. Really bad play by Memphis.
Getting your tonsils removed in your 20s.
Daily Question 📅 What's the worst physical pain you've ever felt?
Either the Big 12 doesn’t want to expand again this soon. Or since they couldn’t get it done with Washington State & Oregon State last summer, no other school really has a shot. If Memphis wants out & be in a good position for 2031, they need to heavily consider the Pac 12.
Where Memphis goes next remains unclear. Pac-12 has expressed serious interest & even offered the school a term sheet last year. Memphis officials have, as well, held talks with leaders in the Big East about a potential move of their basketball program. bit.ly/40uAHeJ
I remember the Florida heat.
USF is gonna be a hard game down in the heat Week 1 on the road. Bulls are going to be good offensively again. Utah State will be better & overachieve what everyone thinks because that’s what Bronco Mendenhall teams do.
#10 BYU on the road, in a down year? Not exactly. #BleedBlue
It was weak tho? We have barely touched ranked opponents and lose when we do
Saying Boise State’s competition was weak when BYU was on their schedule for 10 straight years
Winning versus weak competition does not qualify a school to become a Power conference school. Neither does the 98th TV market or 422K ave TV audience
The MW withholding funds used for mental health and affecting/punishing student-athletes for conference realignment is wild. This whole thing is starting to stoop to a low place.

Every conference has CFP revenue, including the G5. CFP payouts drastically pay more than CFP revenue. BSU, MW5, etc. still get CFP “payouts” if they make it. Difference is: Boise in the MW got >$700k of $8M Boise in the Pac would get $4M of $8M Let’s kill this myth already.
Fyi in the new PAC 12 Grant of Rights Oregon State and Washington State exclusively control CFP revenue for 3 years 2026-2028. None of the revenue is shared with the other members. So if Boise State makes it to the college football playoff they get nothing. This revenue is…
We are absolutely running this back. #BleedBlue #WhatsNext
Spencer Danielson said earlier today that *every* member of his staff was offered "opportunities" to leave Boise State this offseason, but they all declined to do so, choosing instead to remain at Boise State. BSU did not lose a single assistant coach this offseason
Something to note about the Pac 12 TV deal: CBS also has C-USA/MAC. All of the games they pick up appear exclusively on CBSSN, including the C-USA champ game. Assuming the MW deal follows suit? 3+ games on CBS, with 2-3 more partners TBA, shows the Pac is off to a great start.
Source: The Mountain West's next TV deal will include CBS, @TheAthletic has learned. CBS and Fox currently split the Mountain West rights. MW commissioner Gloria Nevarez said earlier today they were optimistic about their current TV partners and adding new ones.
If the motion to dismiss is denied, and the MW already withheld distributions, there’s a very strong scenario the judge also puts a hold on the MW receiving any amount of exit fees from the MW5
I believe the MW withheld ~35m in distributions from the departing MW5. Will the MW be able to withhold next years distributions as well?
Another Boise State Bronco, that Derek played against, runs the Saints. Consider Kellen family too!
"I love Pete Carroll... On offense you know they're gonna run the football, obviously with their draft pick, even though he's a Boise State Bronco, I'll look past that he's a Raider now so we're family" Derek Carr on the new era of Raiders football #RaiderNation
Theoretically, if the Pac 12 pursued the poaching penalties as "damage claims" & the court tripled that $18 million scheduling fee to $54 million in damages: The $60 million or so the MW was expected to get from exit fees could fall to $6 million. Mediation deadline is tomorrow
MW writer making fun of schools for having attorney money meanwhile the MW needed GCU’s bribe money will never not be funny
Boise State and San Diego State have already filed suit for not having a say in this.
