Proud Husband & Dad. Used to play rugby (ish). Now cycle (ish) but far too slowly......
Great to see Wales win. Joking aside. Rugby needs a good Welsh team. One of the great rugby countries - produced some of the greatest (some my heroes!!). So here’s hoping they are on an upwards trajectory …
How can you not be proud watching the England Women’s football team win the European Championship. ‘Triggered’ - have been trying to understand what that means - and can only surmise that it is jealousy ?
In many cases, I think it's insecurity. These men can't bear to be sharing a space they see as "theirs", to see women gaining pleasure and value from (and excelling at) a sport they enjoy too. Fortunately there's now a generation of young men and boys who are much broader-minded.
Why are men ‘triggered’ by women’s success in sport? On any level? Sport inspires, evokes emotion and provides memories that are so vital to all of us. I fail to understand the difference in whether those experiences are provided by men or women.
Those men triggered by the Lionesses’ success should at least acknowledge and respect that the women are great role models inspiring more kids to play the game, which is good for their physical and mental health, which is good for the nation…
Was very good to meet you @Karl_Reid - the most eloquent former prop I have ever met. Look after your ankles !!
Met a hero today - thanks @willcarling 🙏
2010. 2014. 2017. 2021. 2025. A record-equalling fifth @rugbyworldcup for @EmilyScarratt! 👏 #RedRoses | #RWC2025
When you get messages like this, makes you think it is such a shame you can’t meet such great people ……..🤣🤣🤣

How about The British & Irish Lions V The Southern Hemisphere ‘something’s’ - the best of the South V the North - every four years. Could stage in USA - or move around locations - something new in rugby….
Trying to find any complaints on here about Owen Farrell’s impact when he came on?? Seems strangely quiet. As expected his touches were superb, calmly creating and assisting tries. Not a surprise but great to see 👏👏👏👏
The Lions looking good. But Schmidt is a smart operator. Am sure he will have a few surprises. Fascinating selection coming up, backrow and midfield especially. Think Pollock will be in 23. Morgan to start at 7?
That is an impressive win for England in Argentina 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
And last one for today. How good, how deserved is it to see @George_Fordy get to 100 caps for England. Such a shrewd player and one who has quietly gone about being brilliant for England in so many games 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I also really enjoy listening to @WillGreenwood - hugely knowledgeable and eloquent. Also just massively enthusiastic. Great line up of rugby poets for this Lions tour
Really enjoyed Biggar, O’Gara and Warburton today - brilliant 👏👏👏. Informative, insightful and funny ! Thank you 🙏
Wise words from former @EnglandRugby Men's captain, @willcarling 🫡🌹
Lions looking much better. Russell, Daly, Lowe, Williams and in the pack McCarthy & Pollock putting their hands up. Great to see. Studio on the other hand all looked very awkward 😬 Why were they standing around like that at half time??
We are all looked after/ kept safe because of the people brave enough to serve in our armed forces. Hope some of us can show our appreciation by watching and finding out a little more…..🤞🤞🙏

So powerful - in awe of Major Chris - now need to go and dry my eyes….
British Army Major Chris walked 700 miles barefoot across the UK to fund research for his daughter’s rare disease. This is the moment they reunited at Edinburgh Castle
