Yesterday, WILD participated in the State of the Women Summit convened by @WCOZIMBABWE The highlight of the day was the official launch of the State of the Women in Zimbabwe Report. The summit served as a platform for a discussion on the current state of women's rights.




As we gear up for #COP15, let’s celebrate the importance of wetlands and the incredible biodiversity they support. This event will bring together global leaders, conservationists, and passionate advocates, all dedicated to ensuring the health and sustainability of our wetlands.
Today, we honour Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, a monumental figure in the fight for justice & equality. In 2009, the UN established July 18 as Nelson Mandela International Day, recognizing his 67 years of service and commitment to human rights in South Africa. #MandelaDay

WILD participated in the Provincial Gender Forum organized by Zimbabwe Gender Commission - @GenderZimbabwe This forum served as a multi-stakeholder dialogue, fostering knowledge sharing & collaborative efforts to advance gender equality at the provincial level. @table_girls




In 2024, Zimbabwe Human Rights Association (ZimRights) reported at least 8,279 cases of human rights violations, indicating a decline in democratic freedoms in the country. 4457 females, 3822 males & 109 PWDs were affected by various human rights violations. #HumanRights4All
