.@DrShible received Acting State Minister of Health for Khartoum Dr Fathelrahman Mohamed El Amin, at @whosudan today. Discussed the priorities for health interventions in Khartoum and the way forward for rebuilding the State’s Health System.

Yesterday, @whosudan handed over to @FMOH_SUDAN 141 K dialysis sessions, 30 dialysis machines & 26.4 metric tons of medical supplies procured with @KSRelief funding for continuity of dialysis services to 6K patients in #Sudan🇸🇩 with kidney failure who need dialysis for survival.



Since @WHO Rep @DrShible’s mission in #Khartoum in early June, WHO has continued to strengthen its team there with a WHO Head of Office, sub-national Health Cluster Coordinator & technical officers to respond to the health crisis in the state and rebuild the health system. #Sudan
