An artstyle is an artist's "brand". There's also bound to be similar artstyles independently. I'd argue "stealing" artstyles is only bad when done maliciously to profit off somebody else's "brand", like going out of your way to explicitly copy every aspect of it for your own gain
The art style theft argument is dumb and all it does is make younger artists targets for harassment while they try to learn, ultimately demotivating them and causing people to give up on drawing If it’s not directly traced it’s not theft 🤷♂️
