Governments sell Bitcoin to fill holes they dug. You buy Bitcoin so you’re not the one buried in it.

I’ve never told anyone close to me what I hold. Two long term relationships, neither ever knew. One asked. I said no. Now I’m with neither, and carry zero risk. Never create unnecessary exposure. Not friends. Not family. Not partners. No one needs to know. Silence is security.
