The Web Install API dev trial is now live, a proposal from Microsoft to enable the installation of web apps from another origin than the app itself. This opens up the possibility of installing PWAs directly from app stores. More about this in next week's edition of Modern Web…

It’s been 10 years and I still don’t know a single person who uses a PWA on their phone. Great ideas, great execution, doesn’t matter. Adoption has its own weird kind of magic.

We learned a lot about what’s it’s like to build a mobile app using #orclAPEX in the making of this sample app. You shouldn’t have to write crazy CSS to achieve this UX. Now I’m excited about where we take APEX mobile capabilities next. Hope you like it!
