said this before, but a lot of the reason people struggle to understand vi’s motivations and character arc is because they bereave her of her agency and intelligence to either degrade her character or degrade or infantilize the characters around her.
love that there’s a caitvi steel book but it’s so weird that they weren’t included in the collector’s edition. there’s already so much in-show caitvi content that riot & gkids can pull from to create art prints or additional merch, so to omit the main couple is a bit ?
