Firstly, candidates should stop lying about their previous salary. There have been cases where some lie and mention twice their salary and demand a hike! Accept what a company deems fit for you or show proof of pay. You can’t just demand and expect companies to agree to you! 🤷🏻♂️
today i learnt that it is very common for indian companies to ask for your previous pay slips while hiring. this is a filthy practice. it is invasive and it shows zero respect for candidate privacy. any company doing this deserves public shaming. stop tolerating this trash.
