These actions that Youngkin is bragging about are ripping fathers away from their wives and children--including autistic children and children in wheelchairs. Their only crime is showing up for their scheduled asylum hearing. You can watch this yourself any day at the courts.

Hah! Sears totally willing to throw Youngkin under the bus to make her pitch for governor; unfortunately Youngkin too busy clinging to his embarrassing groveling for national attention to make the sacrifice for Sears' campaign.
What is interesting here in the responses is that Youngkin blamed the new methodology for choosing rankings, while stating that the private sector is thriving. Earle-Sears blamed Democrats in the General Assembly for Virginia dropping down the list.
Not sketchy at all--as long as you understand who exactly Miyares works for and will continue to work for. He works for the utility companies, the casinos and gray machine companies, the developers and big tobacco. He doesn't work for us Virginians. The People's Lawyer he is not.
Hey just out of curiosity, is it sketchy that attorney general Jason Miyares is taking vastly more campaign contributions from corporate interests who lobby the government of Virginia than anyone else? Because it seems kind of sketchy.
Spoiler: they aren't Who are they? People who asked for asylum, were granted a hearing & came to the hearing. ICE lawyers had the case dismissed & masked plainclothes agents not identifying themselves as such abducted them on exit. Often while their wife & kids watch helpless.

Mark Peake's record of legislative accomplishments is almost as impressive as Amanda Chase's. Mind you, this is by choice--filing the same hyperpartisan hot button issue bills every year, despite not having votes to pass them. Versus fixing real problems your constituents face.
