my happy place: making products others can use, solving some coding conundrum, supporting clients, and lately refining my cold email outreach efforts // adding skills to the one–man kingdom ✊

Do not get tricked by your mind to constantly post fails and subconsciously crave sympathy. It’s a vicious cycle. It’s ok to fail, but let’s take the lesson, if there is one (sometimes there’s none), and move on to greater heights. Speak to the winner in you ✊
I think Alex Honnold’s free soloing El Capitan (300ft/900m in about 3hrs) is a crazy insane thing to do, but what’s even crazier is that he climbed that wall over and over again (with rope) until he learned every nook and cranny so he can basically have it hard coded in his…

I can't stress this skill enough! Once you get really good at it, your life opens up to new possibilities. Recently I was so reluctant to give up a thing, but wanted to listen to my heart and trust my own self and take the plunge. Also, it's amazing how my powerful self knows so…
Quitting is a superpower! Again, not quitting your ultimate goal, but methods that get you there. Cases in point: — You're a tennis player. You quit a coach and hire a better one. — You're an entrepreneur. You let go a slow/bad biz. Start something new! LEARN TO QUIT!
I'm the type of person that never hangs up the phone at the end of the talk/chat, expecting the other party to hang up, which historically they've done so. However... recently I've met my match several times now. So we both end up with open phones😅

Wrote a little something about "goals" and how they can limit us in reaching levels our mind can't fathom. valsopi.com/goals-are-dece…
In product making there is one thing only: the user being able to get from point A to point B in the most seamless way possible. Notice how I didn’t say “fastest” (more on this at the end of this twix). Anything interrupting that will result in frustration and churn (usage…
In the past week, two friends have said something (not intentionally) about "how I am/sound lately" and their description was that I am down or not doing great. Which was super surprising to me. However, their perception of me is entirely my fault! And this is a wake up call.…
A reminder! Do not settle ✊
Whenever you’re close to achieving your dream, life will throw you a test in a form of a good opportunity, but you know in your heart that it’s not it. Be on the lookout for this test and say No. If you go with it, life will keep throwing you the same test over and over again.
I don’t know if stories like “we launched overnight and people flocked to it” are made up to make something look easy OR actually easy things sell. As in: best businesses are simple.
