Referee Sergii Boiko hasn't made many friends in Nashville tonight, but he handled the penalty call well. Called it on the field, went to VAR to correct it, then kept the yellow card decision. Nashville fans might not agree with his other calls, but that one was spot on.

HT: NSH 1-0 TOR NSH could've had had at least another one, but overall a good half. Qasem & Brugman grew into the game and are showing good moments. Lovitz has dealt with Corbeanu well, he was beaten once the entire half. NSH should see this one out in the second. #EveryoneN

GOAL SAM SURRIDGE! Hany Mukhtar's shot is saved by Sean Johnson and Surridge is there to pick up the leftovers. So many of his goals have come from being at the right place at the right time. Ahmed Qasem did well to win the ball as well. #EveryoneN

Toronto are using Richie Laryea in midfield again tonight. He was tasked with marking Anders Dreyer in San Diego, and he's doing the same thing tonight with Hany Mukhtar. He kept Dryer fairly quiet, interested to see if he can do the same tonight. #EveryoneN

Happy to report, we finally have kickoff in Nashville. I am driving nine hours tomorrow morning, so this delay was not ideal. Hopefully it's a good one, soccer time in Tennessee! #EveryoneN

A slight rotation, but nothing out of the ordinary. A big opportunity for Qasem to build up some form after a good cameo. Palcios + Zimmerman is an interesting one, but having three quality options for two positions is a good. NSH are expected and should win this. #EveryoneN
