The annual Spring and Shout @uwinscience event was filled with celebration. The science community came together this week to give accolades to those staff, faculty and students who went above and beyond. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees.

Great to have the first year @uwinscience biology class (BIOL1111 - Biodiversity) visit the @FRECUwindsor to learn first hand about research regarding restoring habitat and species at risk fishes - students enjoyed the hands on experience at the end of the year

Dr. Dennis Higgs from @iBioUWindsor has been appointed to Nature Communication Biology’s editorial board. This is a great recognition of his excellent and internationally-recognized research program and contributions.

The best of the best in physics research! @UofWPhysics Prof. Jeffrey Rau’s paper on altermagnetism made the “Collection of the Year 2024” list. This represents the top 60 articles (out of 2000-2500) published in the journal Physical Review Letters. 👉bit.ly/41EGe1W
