Slightly different from what Rachel experiences, but trust me: one of the best parts of this gig is seeing it dawn on Ukrainians that strangers care.
We just matched up an American volunteer and his donors are amazing and helping pay for an NVG. He says “I didn’t know random strangers would care about me.”
This stirs up my heart. Tired from fighting against an external aggressor for their very existence, 🇺🇦ians nevertheless have enough ferocity left over to fight an internal enemy as well. Unbreakable people. This, friends, is why 🇺🇦 is going to win the war.

The first load of donated supplies got delivered. Luckily a military team got a truck from @69thSB. They’re temporarily using it help move supplies.
