Probably one of the most beautiful dresses lately. Today condition check of this 1910s Dress from our collection.

Some fauvorites from this week. Working on the next exhibition project: 1910-1915 dresses from our collection. Look at this embroidery!

Probably my favorite dress of the day made of Chiffon silk made by the french house Brandt (Paris) circa 1913.

Dear friends, I am trying to date this overlock stitch鈥攍ooks like 1930s? White thread is single S-twist silk, and unevenness suggests pre-industrial overlock. Anyone have insights or references? This will solve the enigma of the Chanel modification 馃槄

Today the last sticthes were done and she looks beautiful from inside as much as from outside 馃専Chanel project is finished!

The Chanel dress is leading us down new paths as we explore the production scale and material choices. Today, thanks to the expertise of Floor Kaspers, we have gained deeper insight into the production of those beads through her remarkable archive collection (Thanks!)

This is happening! Our Chanel project is complete, and we鈥檙e working on something special. 馃ぉ What an amazing team effort this project has been, with plenty of international cooperation. We鈥檝e learned so much and gained a deeper understanding of Coco鈥檚 perfectionism.

Today i have such a joy to see the research pieces belong to the Conservation studio. Pretty 1920s treasures that will help for Conservation projects in future 馃専
