the replies to this are fucking crazy. big brother casting pre-DEI was a group of 16 strangers with 14 or 15 of of them being white. & the moment they go back to this is the moment I stop watching the show again. It’s just insane like how do people not see the issue
i wholeheartedly would not have applied to Big Brother if not for the 50% BIPOC policy & i know that a few people from BB23 (inaugural season post-DEI initiative) felt that way too. this is so incredibly damaging.
one time I got accused of being ableist towards someone at a show I wasn’t even at yet when the situation occurred. I was literally at my apartment when the situation happened and still got fingers pointed at me by people who weren’t even there. So maybe don’t do this
