Helping children develop early literacy skills is critically important. I’m excited that the @DukeEnergy Foundation can continue to support the United Way’s Preschool Pages program in Pickens County with this grant.

Stopped by the Doodle Trail in Pickens today to present this grant as part of the @DukeEnergy Foundation’s efforts to support trails, litter cleanup, and tree planting events across SC. This funding will be used to repair/repaint markers and add new safety features to the trail

Thank you to Director Parrish and his team for hosting us at Table Rock state park. This trail-accessible wheelchair is part of $375,000 in April grants from Duke Energy to nonprofits and government agencies to help to fight litter, improve trails, and plant trees across SC.
