Reenacting Memories: hopping in the wayback machine and looking at Fort Niagara from 2007!

I had asked the Lundy's Lane Historical Society for an opportunity to do what Chris McKay and I had done back in 2014. I had the honour to read the names of the fallen American, British and Canadian soldiers. It is sobering to go through such an extensive list.

Reenacting memory: the 200th Commemoration of the Battle of Lundy's Lane from 2014. Chris and I read the names of all of the fallen before the ceremony. I laid a wreath on behalf of the Royal Welsh on the side of the monument where the 41st names are.

In the Drummond Hill Cemetery. We have the Lundy's Lane memorial this evening.

Our reenacting summer season is rapidly coming down the home stretch! I will be doing "Forts" over the next little bit. August 2nd & 3rd - Fort Malden, Amherstburg parks.canada.ca/lhn-nhs/on/mal… August 9th & 10th - Fort Erie niagaraparks.com/events/event/a… Come see me at either!

Sacket's Harbor, 2010 Grand Tactical. We had planned a return in 2020 but it took us until 2024 before we could execute our plans!

Reenacting memory: 2010 the Grand Tactical at Sacket's Harbor, New York. These posts were teasers leading up to the 2024 Grand Tactical at Sacket's Harbor.
