This afternoon Prof Tshilidzi Marwala, Principal and Vice Chancellor of the United Nations University, delivered a Masterclass on mainstream innovation and AI and their integration into public service to senior managers of both the Departments and their agencies.
First African Hub is a historic milestone for United Nations University on its 50th Anniversary. University of Pretoria, in partnership with UNU-INWEH have set up the first UNU Hub in Africa, which will advance research & policy on water, climate, land, and planetary health.
Today, I joined the official launch of the UNU Hub on Resilient Environment, Agriculture, Climate and Health for Africa (REACH-AFRICA), hosted at the University of Pretoria. The 1st in the Global South. I'm certain this initiative will find solutions to multifaceted crises.
