I need to rewrite this thread at some point but more concisely and clearly, i hate twitter word limits so much they mess up my flow馃槶

Named for their horned faces rather than for their love of trickery, the Lokiceratops is joining the Jurassic World Evolution family! Pre-order now: fron.dev/d6ae
Watched #JurassicWorldRebirth Fun movie, was smiling through the entire thing, enjoyable action and cinematography Good movie? Not really, very predictable and pretty surface level characters, but enough to keep the simple plot going so, average I'll give an "I enjoyed it" / 10

I'm in two minds, I really like these designs, but they have a lot more creative liberties than just lacking feathers I feel like a dromaeosaurid with accurate anatomy but no feathers would look less "cool" and more silly and cute compared to fictional "raptors"
Featherless/Lighlty feathered Dromaeos have more aura than feathered ones and I am tired of pretending they don't
Trying to watch the rest of the Walking With Dinosaurs episodes after the first had my baby darling Clover whom I love so much

One of the most interesting papers in the past few years to me was that some notosuchians may have had leathery dermis covering their osteoderms, which opens up interesting possibilities for their skin looking quite different from what we would expect Art by @EnnieNovachrono

Given the skin texture is identical to an elephant and not similar to sauropod skin impressions I'm gonna guess it was inspired by elephant hair and accidentally resembles feathers 馃挃 would love to see a sauropod with large impressive scales in popular media someday tho
Am I crazy or does the Titanosaur have bristle like feathers on its leg? 馃く

Should I commit to a more balanced account with posting paleontology content as well as art Or stick to mostly art Genuinely cannot decide, I don't want to accidentally be insufferable but I do like posting fun information 馃

Lowkey I don't know why people are adamant certain designs in jurassic world movies designs are "scientifically accurate" when they just are not. Like it's okay to like a design despite an inaccurate or dated portrayal of the creature, "accurate" doesn't mean "objectively good"
