Rebooting the MCU with the Founding Avengers all in their early twenties (except Thor and Hank) would honestly be the safest bet to distance themselves from the previous portrayals of the characters and their actors. I‘d actually really like to see it.
Nothing is funnier than Marvel preferring to include Howard Stark, a character so entrenched in a history of child abuse and in some iterations the co-inventor of the atomic bomb, than Tony‘s best friend just because that dude is called WAR Machine.

New Avengers is actually so good, genuinely shocked how fun this is. Humphries has a great voice for every character here, Namor and Clea already stealing the show.

I heavily dislike Fraction‘s Iron Man run (and not just because of Larroca‘s atrocious art), but this confrontation between Tony and Whitney lives in my mind rent free.
