Happy 46th Anniversary, Sharon! It was 50 years ago today that I saw you for the very first time in the registration line at teen camp! I was smitten with you then and I am still smitten by you today! I love you with all my heart!

Must Jesus bear the cross alone, And all the world go free? No, there’s a cross for everyone, And there’s a cross for me. How happy are the saints above, Who once went sorr’wing here! But now they taste unmingled love, And joy without a tear.
Soft as the voice of an angel, Breathing a lesson unheard Hope with a gentle persuasion Whispers her comforting word: Wait till the darkness is over Wait till the tempest is done Hope for the sunshine tomorrow After the shower is gone. Whispering hope, O, how welcome thy voice...
Happy 85th Birthday Mama! Sharon and I along with your entire family love and appreciate you! Enjoy your special day!

I must tell Jesus all of my trials I cannot bear these burdens alone In my distress He kindly will help me He ever loves and cares for His own I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus! I cannot bear my burdens alone I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus! Jesus can help me, Jesus alone
I am happy today, and the sun shines bright, The clouds have been rolled away; For the Savior said, whosoever will May come with Him to stay. “Whosoever” surely meaneth me, Surely meaneth me, oh, surely meaneth me; “Whosoever” surely meaneth me, “Whosoever” meaneth me.
The cross upon which Jesus died Is a shelter in which we can hide And its grace so free is sufficient for me And deep is its fountain as wide as the sea. There's room at the cross for you There's room at the cross for you Tho' millions have come, there's still room for one . . .
I need Thee ev'ry hour, Most gracious Lord; No tender voice like Thine Can peace afford. I need Thee, O I need Thee; Ev'ry hour I need Thee; O bless me now, my Savior, I come to Thee.
Pass me not, O gentle Savior, Hear my humble cry; While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by. Savior, Savior, Hear my humble cry, While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by.
We praise Thee, O God! For the Son of Thy love, For Jesus Who died, And is now gone above. Hallelujah! Thine the glory. Hallelujah! Amen. Hallelujah! Thine the glory. Revive us again.
I am weak, but Thou art strong; Jesus, keep me from all wrong; I’ll be satisfied as long As I walk, let me walk close to Thee. Just a closer walk with Thee, Grant it, Jesus, is my plea, Daily walking close to Thee, Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
Happy 10th Birthday Connor! Welcome to the double digits! Nana and I love you!

I care not today what the morrow may bring, If shadow or sunshine or rain, The Lord I know ruleth o’er everything And all of my worries are vain. Living by faith in Jesus above, Trusting, confiding in His great love From all harm safe in His sheltering arm, I’m living by faith...
Down deep in my soul a melody rings, I′m winging my way back home; A sinner is saved, my spirit now sings, I′m winging my way back home. I'm climbing each day, since Jesus is mine; I′ll travel the road to glory divine; The way is called straight That enters the gate . . .
No tears in Heaven, no sorrows given. All will be glory in that land; There’ll be no sadness, all will be gladness, When we shall join that happy band. No tears, No tears, no tears up there, Sorrow and pain will all have flown; No tears,No tears, no tears up there . . .
Jesus, keep me near the cross, There a precious fountain— Free to all, a healing stream— Flows from Calv’ry’s mountain. In the cross, in the cross, Be my glory ever; Till my raptured soul shall find Rest beyond the river.
I also ask you to pray for this missions team from our church that is on their way to assist Kason and Bethany Bloom in Quito, Ecuador! Pray for their safe travels and the opportunities the Lord will give them this week to serve Him!

Please pray for our missions team that is headed to assist Josh and Allie Miller in Arequipa, Peru! We made it safely from RDU to Atlanta and are now boarded in ATL and heading to Lima, Peru and then on to Arequipa tomorrow morning!

Rejoicing in all the Lord has done for Lawson and praying for full and complete recovery! #PrayForLawson
One week ago we heard the words, “Lawson is dying.” Today, we say, “Look what God has done!” He’s healing our boy, restoring his mind, and answering prayer. Keep praying for his lungs, his appetite—and for our family’s healing. God is good. All glory to Him.
Altho' I cannot see the way O'er life’s tempestuous sea, I know that Jesus is my Friend And that He’ll pilot me. He’ll pilot me from day to day, When blinded eyes can’t see the way; Let come what may on life’s dark sea, My blessed Lord will pilot me.
