On the heels of yesterday’s 75 George Brett artwork, I just realized it’s the anniversary of the Pine Tar game! I made this one back in 2016 from….pine tar. Unfortunately, the tar ran together and the piece no longer exists.

I love the MLB draft. It’s one of my favorite events in all of sports. The only part I don’t like: these bogus comps being thrown out there for every player taken in the first 5-6 rounds. Every year we see 9 Justin Verlanders, 6 Mike Trouts, 3 Alex Rodriguezs….. Just stop it.

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden’s (@Melissajanae21) 10.75 (-1.5) converts to a 10.65 at still wind. All things considered, this woman ran one of the most impressive races in the history of the sport, today.
