On the heels of yesterday’s 75 George Brett artwork, I just realized it’s the anniversary of the Pine Tar game! I made this one back in 2016 from….pine tar. Unfortunately, the tar ran together and the piece no longer exists.

FINISHED: My take on the 1975 Topps George Brett, made from cut common baseball cards. The last slide has a common thrown on there to show the scale. 20” x 28”; Sold.

I love the MLB draft. It’s one of my favorite events in all of sports. The only part I don’t like: these bogus comps being thrown out there for every player taken in the first 5-6 rounds. Every year we see 9 Justin Verlanders, 6 Mike Trouts, 3 Alex Rodriguezs….. Just stop it.
Melissa Jefferson-Wooden’s (@Melissajanae21) 10.75 (-1.5) converts to a 10.65 at still wind. All things considered, this woman ran one of the most impressive races in the history of the sport, today.

Some mail days are better than others. A @timcarrollart mail day is great. A double mail day is epic. Glorious! Enjoy. TC4 and TC5 are home. TC6 coming in 2026?
56-13. Omaha trip. CWS FINALS. Such a fun season. February can’t get here fast enough! Thanks so much, @CoastalBaseball !
And now storms possibly pushing game 3 out, allowing Postseason Riley to get closer to full rest? Feels like this script was written a few years ago. 👌

It’s a dumbass question to be asked before they even play them. They’ve won 56 games by focusing on Coastal and handling their own business.

Seems like every other true crime doc I watch has someone finding a body in the woods/river. And they nonchalantly dismiss it as a mannequin. Excuse me? As if it’s normal to be hiking and walk up on a mannequin.
i enjoy watching True Crime/Murder type shows but you are telling me that EVERYONE that is the victim in the cases featured was a "great person, well loved, etc"? Like none of them are d-bags, bad folks, deadbeat parents, etc. ..... EVER? i understand why, but damn mix it up
