I've decided to start a substack to replace my old blog. I like some of the features of substack. No paywall, so it's free to subscribe if you're interested. There's a chat for subscribers. But you can also just check the site like a normal blog. taylorpatrickoneill.substack.com/p/the-relation…
Takes like this, beyond being monumentally stupid, are really just the wholesale acceptance of the "men are stupid cavemen" message of modernity. And Walsh bought it hook, line, and sinker, saying "this is true and good, actually." Classic reactionary stuff.
Dudes like this were already gay. I’ve been married for 14 years and have never been home decor shopping, or even had an opinion on the subject, except for the one time when I had a painting custom made depicting me meeting a group of space aliens. It’s now hanging above a…
Fellas is it gay to have any taste whatsoever.

Hulk Hogan was an American icon. May God have mercy on his soul. He rejected the Catholic faith of his youth in the aftermath of the Council, later being ‘rebaptised’ in a Baptist Church. However, he loved Jesus, and we pray that Our Saviour will have mercy on his soul.
This isn't true on a mere technicality, as if God were the thing that you're supposed to have (and then you're lacking everything else). When you have God, you have all things because God is the very being and perfection of all things (and infinitely more).
"Whoever has God lacks nothing; God alone suffices." - St. Teresa of Avila
The sins of those people were sexual violence, which probably did incorporate intentions to "humiliate an immigrant." But the humiliation and lack of hospitality were worsened in and through a lust for sexual deviancy, violence, and sodomy. We need to stop politicizing sin.
Anyone preparing homilies for this weekend will notice that the First Reading is Abraham's bargaining with God to prevent God's wrath against Sodom and Gomorrah. Here is a distinguished Old Testament scholar on what the sins of those cities really were. outreach.faith/2024/03/richar…
Among many things, this film (through analogy that borders on allegory) is one of the best portrayals of the Blessed Mother ever made. The ending ("I give him to you") absolutely destroys me. For probably unhealthy reasons, I try not to cry, and this ending makes me *weep*.
Now watching:
Javier Bardem's monologue and recitation of the Lorica of St. Patrick in Malick's To the Wonder.
What’s the most inspiring movie speech?
Not normally a big conspiracy theory guy but I’m uhhh not sure what other conclusion I’m supposed to draw from this Trump post other than he is 1000% implicated in the Epstein files and it’s very very bad lol
Here is your problem. Catholicism is not a private religion. You can only do it holistically. All aspects of human life have to be baptized. That means even your public policy needs to be proportioned to Christ.
This was utterly disrespectful to my family, my constituents including the congregation, and the democratic process. My private religion will continue to have zero direct relevance to my work as an MP representing all my constituents without fear or favour. 3/3
