for anyone following along: there are clearly *hundreds* of people signed up to speak at this TX redistricting hearing in houston. the committee has come up with these rules: speakers will get 2 min each & the hearing will end after 5 hours of public testimony.

Which is why need more hearings! 3 House hearings for this whole state? Come one.

About 75 people stayed to testify after the #txlege cut off testimony on the unjust and improper mid-decade redistricting. Thank you to the members who stayed behind give these Texans a chance to make their voices heard.
