Personally, I think the Yankees would benefit tremendously from acquiring an innings eater style pitcher like they did in 2018 for Lynn. Someone to take the ball for some starts, mop up relief, with clean reliable innings. Someone who comes to mind is Charlie Morton. Thoughts?

Say what you want about Joe Girardi, but he always wore his heart on his sleeve. He was as authentic a manager as you’ll ever see. You’d never see this from today’s Yankees though, it’s a different organization today than it was then.
