i love the smell of wood chips being used on the grill. my grandmother uses them when she makes jerk chicken, so it always brings back memories of eating good food, (as i got older) helping her grill, and just spending time with my family, especially during the summer.
Oh lord, Hulk done went to the lower room.

The smell of Juicy Fruit chewing gum. Reminds me of when I was a kid “sneaking”gum from my Grandma’s purse. I thought I was being sneaky but she always knew. Our little game of cat and mouse. 💜
Cheerios remind me of summer break with my grandmother. Used to tear em up all day with some mocha milk lol Car leather smells remind me of the long car rides on dirt roads to get to football practice in his old Tahoe. Had 12s and an amp so every song sounded amazing lol
I want some communal joy. Can y’all share a smell or scent that reminds you of a pleasant memory? I’ll go first—whenever I smell wood, I think of playing with my cousins down South.
Wood-burning stove, my granny's oil lamps, & weirdly enough, a fresh pack of cigarettes

The smell of Home fries cooking meant my mom was in a great mood or I must’ve been doing good when I was younger…they were so good

Burning wood. It reminds of winter with my great grandparents, and their potbelly stove that heated the shotgun house. I LOVED it
Have you ever stepped out of the airport in Port of Spain?

It’s wild how children can be so discerning and so naive at the same time. My daughter complimented a woman’s braids at the park, then asked if we could visit her house because “her hair is pretty and she looks nice.” Like girl… 😭
This is a very important point which thoroughly backs up that “people are dying that have never died before” because there’s an important distinction.
I ain’t gone hold you, I thought Ozzy been went on to the lower room.
