A small fraction of the world understands bitcoin. Of those folks a fraction know that bitcoin is money, not just digital gold. If you’re in this minority it’s time to build stuff and spend sats. For the record, Bitcoin was a medium of exchange before it was a store of value.
Some people claim that US dollar reserve currency status post-Bretton Woods was good for the US gov, but that doesn't mean it was good for the American people. Just because a bitcoin strategic reserve would be good for the US gov, doesn't mean it will be good for the people.
The “HODLer’s Dilemma” that @jackmallers talked about at BTC Vegas is a problem worth solving. The quick fix? Fiat loans against bitcoin. The longer, harder path is building the parallel system so bitcoin becomes a widely accepted MoE. Let’s get the sats flowing.

@secsovereign's story will blow your mind. After buying bitcoin in 2010 and forgetting about it, he found himself in a bad place. Mentally, physically, financially... he was struggling. Until he remembered that he put the bitcoin on a hard drive and left it in his mom's shed...
