I live in Vancouver, Senator, and the pro-Hamas mobs regularly gather at the Vancouver Art Gallery to spew their Jew hatred and chant their genocidal chants with no interference from the police, the city or the province.
No one is stopping Sean Feucht from hosting his shows in Canada, despite his criminal record. He has no Charter right to have his shows hosted at public facilities, which must be safe and discrimination free spaces that uphold community standards. Don’t believe the martyrdom.
A roadmap for cuts: "Those ministries and agencies doing things that aren't the proper responsibility of the state at all, or of the federal government in our system, should be the first on the chopping block."
A roadmap for cuts: "Those ministries and agencies where employees (a) can’t be bothered to show up for work on the days they’re required, or (b) are streaming Netflix, should be the first on the chopping block."

Yet again Carney's such a lovely talker that it's easy to forget he isn't saying anything.
PM @MarkJCarney vows to "work with" other nations and "take steps" towards a Hamas-less two-state solution to the Israel-Hamas war. "A two state solution...that does not include Hamas in any role in a future Palestinian state." Read more via @junonewscom
Almost as if they were only pretending to have had a change of heart in the face of public discontent...
The feds are pushing back on Ford’s claim it takes 2 years for asylum seekers to get work rights, saying it’s actually under 2 months. They're arguing over how fast they greenlight asylum claims while Canadians are fed up with mass immigration. Unreal. globalnews.ca/news/11304605/…
Not to rain on the parade, but what on Earth makes you think it "stops when we demand that it does"? The problem is a lot more serious and we must not delude ourselves.
Thank you to @mgeist for pointing out what many have ignored for too long. There's a serious and ugly Jew-hatred problem going on in Canada right now. And it needs to stop. And it only stops when we demand that it does.
But I thought you liked proportional representation, with lots and lots of parties and so forth.
This is a disaster. Have a look at the photograph of the ballot with 91 names on it. Now imagine one more than twice as large. cbc.ca/news/politics/…
When they're trying to make us think AI is friendly and unthreatening, they go with images of pretty young women in skimpy outfits. Are we that dumb?
Harness the full power of AI!
Because they hate... oh, what's the name of that group again? It's on the tip of my tongue... again.
Why is the New York Times using a photo of Mohammed al-Mutawaaq, a child with a muscular disorder, as the face of famine in Gaza?

The government?
Official data shows attacks against Canada's Jewish community far outweighed other types of religiously motivated attacks in 2024. Crimes motivated by religion towards: Jews: 68% Muslims: 17% Catholics: 4.5% But it's only one group that's constantly shrieking "Islamophobia."
Agreed on the first point. But not sure on the second. Surely citizens thumbing their noses at the pompous solemnity of politicians actually benefits democracy. (And if Poilievre supporters can't elect him anyway, well, isn't it on them?)
Canada is an unserious country sometimes. Today underscores that.
The fact that so many Canadian commentators can't tell the difference between going all-in for free speech and going all-in for the actual views of the speaker tells me they're either too stupid to research the issue or they're genuinely comfortable defending censorship.
This woman is a purveyor of disinformation. Rachel, I dare you to defend this tweet on a media platform. It's time Canadians truly understand exactly who you are, why you're dangerous. I'm available at your convenience. Lets end your ability to earn from destroying trust & truth.
Only if they cover the spending by increasing the money supply. Inflation is everywhere and always a monetary phenomenon. Even if you rename it Quantitative Easing because, as Kipling said, giving a thing a long name doesn't make it better.
Economics 101 Increased government spending & borrowing will lead to inflation every time. A law as solid as that of gravity. Yet, socialists will never understand.
