The more I study Nigeria's First Republic and the Action Group Party, the more I realise that Awolowo was wrong and Akintola was right. Obafemi Awolowo should have stayed on in Ibadan as Premier instead of moving to Lagos and contesting for the Prime Minister position in 1959.

There’s a guy on Instagram who started posting about his journey to getting legally euthanised in the Netherlands, so he started a “last supper project” where he goes to his followers’ homes to have supper with them before he dies. The date for him to be euthanised was 30 July.
The tragedy for Nigerians is that no one can tell which food is GMO or non-GMO Nigerians don’t have that luxury of a choice. No labels, no functioning regulatory body. We just eat everything we see. We can’t differentiate.

For all the arguments on the benefits of GMO, my question is: Are we producing this GMO food? Does Africa have the capacity to make GMO food? If these seeds need to be imported, then GMO is a potential tool of international control. That makes it very dangerous.
