I cover Dragon Ball in ways you never thought. Currently reviewing the manga and special scenes on YouTube. 📧: 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗸𝘂@𝗴𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
I made my thread on Goten meeting Goku for the first time into a video. A good amount of people don't realize that the anime is very different than the manga. In this video, I discuss why the manga's version is better.
Shonen Jump is very generously priced but I am so sick of the cost of things going up, man. It's just the principle. You blink and something is a different price.
As much as Gohan is heralded as a badass for SSJ2 and beating Cell, this saga is a return to the reluctant boy he was in the Saiyan Saga and the true beginning of his habit of shirking responsibility and slacking off—habits that have only recently come to an end in modern DB.
Where in the manga does Goku think Gohan liked fighting (like a Saiyan)? Aside from wanting to train him first, the only time Goku included Gohan in fighting/training was for enemies. And Gohan showed no hesitation and even took initiative except when he was whispering to Cell.
My adventures but with the Great Saiyaman ✨️ #gohan #videl #MyAdventuresWithSuperman FINALLY I FINISHED THIS <3
I had such high hopes for DAIMA. The way it came and went felt like waking up from a fever dream.
Thank y'all so much for commenting and continuing to indulge this debate. I'm writing a book on the Dragon Team's mindsets, characterization, and crucial dynamics. The Gohan and Piccolo section is lengthy to say the least, so your comments help!
Imagine choosing to wear your first master's clothes despite your dad drawing out your true potential and your master ends up being the most vocal about not believing in you. I'm never gonna take my foot off Piccolo's neck because he was bugging real bad.
Goku is my favorite Saiyan but Bardock is my favorite 𝙎𝙖𝙞𝙮𝙖𝙣, born and raised. He's so raw. Had Frieza shook two decades later.
I think Krillin redeemed himself for destroying the remote, so I made a little video about it. Trigger warning: TFS reference.
This scene reminds me of the fall in the Garden of Eden. Cell trying to deceive 18 into thinking that she's missing out on absolute power is brilliantly done. It's the perfect temptation given the fact that she and 17 never wanted to feel powerless or used again.
