Today the College Sports Commission issued additional guidance to schools about the definition of “valid business purpose” and the importance of sharing information about entities involved in third-party NIL deals. More information is available here: collegesportscommission.org/nil

The deadline for submitting a school’s declaration to opt in to the terms of the House Settlement has been extended to June 30, 2025. Schools may submit or change their declaration by providing notice to the NCAA.
Several ADs from the Settlement Implementation Committee spoke to their peers at @NACDA today about next steps for implementing the House Settlement on their campuses as we enter this new era.
