We welcome efforts to bolster local news in cities like Waco, and we hope to welcome future eligible staff contributing to these efforts to our guild. We will continue working for a contract with raises, employee protections and benefits for any current and future guild members.
New: The Texas Tribune is launching a network of community newsrooms to help build stronger news ecosystems across the state. We’ll start this effort in 2025 with a new local newsroom in Waco, followed by an Austin newsroom. bit.ly/3Tjfm42

.@SAReportUnion has been negotiating for months now, and ALL our members are welcome to join at the table. The contract will impact everyone after all, so it is only fair they get to see how it is negotiated and what management is saying. @TexasTribune should follow suit.
