They’re iconic. A national favourite native species ❤️🐿️ They’re endangered too! 😢 But lots of folk across the #lakedistrict and #cumbria do so much to protect and conserve these precious cuties! You can find out more in my recent critically acclaimed film on iPlayer👇…

Enjoyed a REALLY nice low alcohol beer from @loweswatergold today at the fab community owned pub @BvcpInn today! 😋🍺 #lakedistrict I headed out to catch up with pals on my leccy bike and recharged there too! I love such pubs in Cumbria. The opposite of the mainstream crap ya see…

My kind of Sunday about home 😊👍🐿️ #lakedistrict #nature #redsquirrel
Confronted a family yesterday at Ullswater allowing their sons to saw off tree branches for a fire!! The men were extremely patronising and seemed to think they had a given right to do it!! Another example of unsocial behaviour in the @lakedistrictnpa @terrybnd @cumbriapfcc
Jack’s Rake is a beast of a scramble—those views though! Can’t wait for your tips. ⛰️
Great footage Terry, truly wonderful scenery - no doubt will attract the hordes (brace yourself Buttermere !) And suddenly I feel rather thirsty too ... Many thanks for your work - brings much pleasure to we who can't get up there as often as we'd like !
Ever fancied tackling the scramble Jack’s Rake in Great Langdale? ⛰️ #lakedistrict You find out more soon on my relaunched YouTube channel. Learn safety tips, the history and more with my friend David 👇 youtube.com/@terryabrahaml… #outdoors #cumbria
Yeah don’t want to sound a killjoy and patronising but to those uneducated who go up in trainers something like this is hugely useful. I wouldn’t attempt it as a reasonably experienced Lakeland walker but to know your limits is vital. A map doesn’t do that for many.
Just watched the relaunch vid great comeback. I can’t place your accent. You sound completely different to how I expected for some reason. Great work. 👍
LAUNCHED! 🎉⛰️🎥 First video is up. Featuring a fave #lakedistrict cycling route of mine, an easy little-known scramble up Grasmoor and a visit to the wonderful @KirkstileInn 🍺👇 youtu.be/KsMN8xwEh1s?si… #outdoors #pubs #cumbria

We were in the cloud this morning filming a short film on the stone stack issue. I will keep pushing my agenda on this topic, but dont worry I'll not overdo it 🤣🤣#leavenotrace #thepeakdistrictviking #mamtor #castleton #stonestacking
My morning avoiding ticks, midges and mozzies involved spending time with this red scamp I’ve not met before in the forest 😊❤️🐿️ A proper beauty eh 😊🐿️ #lakedistrict #nature #redsquirrel

MAN ON A MISSION! 😉 I arrived too early today at The Stag Inn, Dufton “apparently” whilst trying out my new boots from @Catstycam on a bimble 🥾 #lakedistrict #cumbria #humour #shoplocal
It's Pats' first day on planet Earth and she's confused.....
I'm in my sixth year of writing articles on Cumbrian lore, and two years ago I decided I'd write a book, and in the end wrote two. The first is out in August: "Folklore of the Lake District" bardofcumberland.com/folklore #FolkloreSunday #LakeDistrict
