New Midlife Suez Crisis Badge! Hawker Hunter by @teaselstudio1 #RBandME: redbubble.com/i/pin/MIDLIFE-… #findyourthing #redbubble
Big announcement next week ! Ready for Xmas ...... hopefully I can take input from everyone who follows .... it's going to be epic !
FB has become submerged in posts claiming to be from interest groups which are garbage. I assume it is designed to be click bait for enraged historians and researchers. Just count the mistakes in this simple, two sentence, description.

And, yes, I may have taken a few pics of the Dragon Lady. Seeing her fly is a, very long standing, bucket list ticked off...

There is absolutely no better way of researching a subject than seeing it sitting on the tarmac. How else would you even begin to have guessed what this warning stencil was, for example? Thank you to @airtattoo and @DGPR_PAF.

I do have interests other than aircraft colour schemes and markings, should anyone be interested!
Time to disobey orders! When should military pilots disobey orders? And did the wartime Luftwaffe? Fascinating interview with @SpitfireFilly here: hushkit.substack.com/p/time-to-diso…
Much race tracking going on outside, this evening. Thanks for your vigilance, guys. @HMCoastguard

Spent the day with the family, trying to get the hang of the camera, albeit generally with leaden skies and obstructed by chicken wire and electric fences.

What is it they say? Don't forget to look down? All the spotter scopes scanning the reed beds and I'm happily listening to this chap munching on a tender young stem.

Lovely trip to Pet Level with the mini me. First ducklings and common terns of the year, a very vocal Cetti's and, if Merlin is to be believed, a Yellow Legged Gull was calling somewhere from beyond the reeds. @BBCSpringwatch

For reference, seaplanes have their fuselages in contact with water whilst on it, whereas float planes contact the water using just floats. It is nothing to do with the size of the aircraft, or its intended role. So, Widgeon (Gosling) is a seaplane and Kingfisher is a floatplane.

Want to see a Lightning ? Tomorrow is Gramdma Vals coffee am 10-1200 at the former RAF Binbrook - hosted by @h15church they are a team of volunteers doing beyond amazing stuff - on sale are lots of things mugs / stickers etc and profits go to the memorial garden 😇
Time for another of my. very occasional, military markings infographics, methinks. Enjoy.

Dear hive mind. Any Chinese linguists able to translate this for me?
