So happy to read in the ‘Inspecting the Curriculum’ @Ofstednews handbook that all Ofsted inspections in primary schools will take ‘deep dives’ into the teaching of reading. Reading is by far the most important skill that children can master in a primary school. @RSch_PrimarySLT
Every time I read about this I find it fascinating! As native speakers of English we don’t get taught this, we just sort of know it but for #EAL learners it’s not as straight forward...
