HUGE announcement today. I’ve been wanting to do this for years. I’ve reached the point in every agency bro’s life cycle where he thinks to himself—I should start a SaaS. So I did: it’s called Bluecast, and it’s a tool that helps you write better LinkedIn content, faster—so you…

Fell off book writing for the past few weeks. Dealing with a bunch of business messes. Back chipping away at it today. Feels good. Onward!

Founders all say they want to build an audience, yet all but a select few don't have the spine to share their real opinions.
The most surprising thing about business this year has been how big of a challenge boredom is. First time ever feeling so out of it. Past it now, but was a weird experience after spending most of my professional career stoked to get to work in the AM.
Great thing about posting content online is you can just get customers without having to go to lame industry conferences or doing a bunch of fake ‘networking’
A few of the best books I’ve read in the past 1-2 years, no particular order: • Light Bringer by Pierce Brown • Demon in White by Christopher Ruocchio • Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson
“I don’t have time to work out” isn’t an excuse if you have an assault bike within walking distance from you. 10 minutes of intervals on that death machine is more than enough. I can’t feel my quads.

The day-to-day of being a CEO often feels incompatible with doing creative work
Imagine being the LinkedIn ghostwriter for the Astronomer CEO today
I'm not sure who needs to hear this But answering "Happy to discuss this on an interview" to a question on a job application Will probably not land you an interview
The best content people I know all had a period in their career when they published a ridiculous amount of content in a compressed timeframe.
I'd recommend using a barbell strategy when hiring content marketers. Either go super premium with lots of experience, or early-career zoomers who binge-watch Gary Vee. Mid-level content marketers with ~5yrs experience are dangerous. Always think they're better than they are.
Who would have thought it’d be easier to book sales calls than book interviews with good candidates? Lead gen is easy. Recruiting is going to be the death of me!
Nothing is easier than an agency sales call when you’re already at capacity
