Almost nobody knows who Krysten Sinema is. This vote had effectively zero impact on the supposed cynicism of young voters.
underrated font of cynicism in young left-ish voters is sinemanchin. the first time dems could theoretically do something in their remembered lives and it gets torpedoed by two conservadems for no reason.
Well, every single R and R-leaning Indy disapproves of the Dems. And of course Ds and D-leaning Indys facing a disastrous Republican presidency also disapprove of the Dems, who haven't stopped Trump's agenda (because they mostly can't). Something here? Yeah! Big deal? No.
WSJ: The Democratic Party’s image has eroded to its lowest point in over three decades, according to a new WSJ poll, with voters seeing the GOP as the better option on most issues that decide elections. wsj.com/politics/elect…
It's a profound moral failing that homelessness is only a political issue insofar as it scares or bothers the general public and not insofar as it subjects those who live it to some of the worst suffering imaginable

Noteworthy: Antisemitism, originally the chief pretext for Trump's crusade against Harvard, goes totally unmentioned in his proclamation further attacking its international students.
When I first went on @11thHour a year and a half ago, it was because Claudine Gay had been forced out of office — the culmination of Harvard's decades-long fall from grace. Today, things couldn't be more different. My take:
In case it's not clear, Harvard's Commencement was an earned-media masterclass. Clips all over broadcast and social media, and they're tactfully measured — Trump's name, if I recall, wasn't said once.
And plagiarizing Vanessa Hudgens, too!
At her town hall, when the crowd says people will die due to Medicaid and SNAP cuts, Joni Ernst responds "well we all are going to die." #iasen
