"From deeply embodied origins, the poet conjures the profound thin spaces between womb and shadowland, fairytale and fever dream." It was an honour to provide an endorsement for @taylorhamannlos' BETWEEN MY SPINE & THE RIVER (Ridge Books) @eastridgereview. @TopTweetTuesday

If you go down to the woods today, you might find us, racing through the trees like wild things to the beat of deer hooves in the loam. Or, you might not. Perhaps, just read this poem instead: "Maru Mori" by @taylorhamannlos crowcrosskeys.com/2025/07/16/mar…

One of my favorite things about poetry is the way it can capture feelings—not love or sadness or joy but the feeling of running through the summer grass as a kid or the moment you realize the last time you took out your favorite toy & played with it was truly the last time.
Happy 1st book birthday to DRESSING THE BEAR! It's been such a wonderful year & to everyone who has read, uplifted, or engaged with these poems, you have made me so happy & so grateful! All the love to @triohousepress too! What a talented, tireless, & big-hearted team! 💙🌸📚🎉🐻
