Take Back the Truth

Take Back the Truth is an Energy Transfer website dedicated to setting the record straight, not only on oil and gas, but on our projects and our company.
"What Greenpeace and other extremist groups don’t grasp is that their efforts to stop oil and natural gas development would weaken the United States, embolden rogue nations, hurt our economy and have very little, if any, impact on the environment."👇
Radical environmentalist attacks on US energy are a direct threat to our national security. We must never sacrifice our energy independence to green policies that ultimately benefit America's adversaries. foxnews.com/opinion/threat…

Nearly a decade later, North Dakota is finally getting some justice from the courts over the Dakota Access Pipeline protests. Our state should also get an apology from the former president. inforum.com/opinion/column…
"Energy is not a sector of the economy; energy is the economy. Without access to affordable and reliable energy, businesses cannot grow, and citizens cannot heat and cool their homes." - @TrishaJCoffee

New audio spot! youtube.com/watch?v=Tf_oCL… Oil and gas power more than just our cars—they fuel our economy, support millions of jobs, and help fund vital services like schools and hospitals. The U.S. leads the world in production, and Americans reap the rewards.
"These groups, like Greenpeace, don’t understand that speech was never the issue in the North Dakota trial. It was Greenpeace’s actions that led to its expensive penalties..." dailycaller.com/2025/04/02/man…
"The trial exposed some of the ways that a big-money NGO—and a cadre of radical activists—can steer an initially peaceful protest toward mayhem." 👇 commentary.org/articles/james…
Like the later BLM and anti-Israel protests, the 2016 Standing Rock anti-pipeline occupation showed how a small group of hard-core activists can push a demonstration toward violence. The Greenpeace lawsuit helped expose how mainstream nonprofits often fund these extremists.
The causes they claim to march for—whether climate, civil rights, or Palestine—are interchangeable. The real goal is always radical, revolutionary change. @jamesbmeigs commentary.org/articles/james…
ICYMI: Last week, a North Dakota jury ordered Greenpeace to pay $667 million in damages for its campaign in 2016-2017 to block the Dakota Access Pipeline. Check out our blog post: energytransferfacts.com/blog/greenpeac…
"The jury has now spoken: perpetrators of violence and vandalism cannot avoid accountability merely by claiming it’s their First Amendment right." @natlawreview natlawreview.com/article/greenp…
"While commentators have focused on Greenpeace’s tenuous future in the wake of the decision, the more important outcome is that the trial set an important precedent that violent protests cannot be excused as a form of free speech." Read more below🔽 natlawreview.com/article/greenp…
